NEWSBluetooth Configuration

GPS devices send positioning information to Pocket RAMM using a technology known as Bluetooth. In order for GPS positioning information to be available in Pocket RAMM, both Pocket RAMM and the device on which it operates need to be configured for the Bluetooth communications.
If you use a PDA to run Pocket RAMM then the pairing of the PDA with the GPS device works well. This is because RAMM Software Ltd have written the software to manage the pairing process.
If you want run Pocket RAMM on a PC, Laptop or Tablet device, then you have to perform the initial set up and pairing of the Bluetooth GPS device yourself.
As many users have experienced problems with the initial set up and pairing, a guide has been created to show users how to perform this.
